Happy Belated New Year: Giveaway & My resolutions for 2016

I want to wish each and everyone of you a happy new year (I know, I know, a little late...)!! In order to celebrate the new year I have set up a fun giveaway: a gift card worthy of 25 dollars!! This is an international giveaway, so anyone can join in.

Here are my resolutions for 2016.
Healthier lifestyle
I know this is suuper cliche, but I plan on really making a drastic change in my lifestyle. I have taken the challenge in eating no meat for at least 6 days a week. I would like to be a full time vegetarian, but since my family really likes eating meat on special/random occasions, I will make an exception here and there. It's also a good opportunity to get in all the protein I may be missing out on.

I also want to make it a habit to go jogging at least 3 days a week. I used to love running, and I was briefly part of the track team at my highschool. But ever since I left highschool, I never did anything with it anymore. Hence, starting up jogging again will not only put my mind at ease but will also of course have a positive effect on my health.

More reading
Accoording to Goodreads' statistics, I have read approximately 20 books in 2015. Well, thats not a lot. So I want to boost it up a bit, and I set the challenge for myself to read (at least) 50 books this year! Follow my process here: https://www.goodreads.com/user_challenges/4167929

I also want to work on my reading pace. Sometimes, due to my full time job, I do not always get to the time to read, but I know some bloggers read basically one book of so many pages within an hour! That's pretty outrageous, but I definitely think I can improve in my pace!

Promoting & Connecting
This year I really want to work on the promotion aspect of my blog. I feel like my blog is not really 'out there' yet, and I really would like to gain more recognition in the book (blogging) world! Furthermore I also want to enhance my connections with other book bloggers and reading junkies!

Read & Review more mainstream
So far I have been reading loads of books from indie authors, and I absolutely LOVE it! But this year I would also like to read more of the 'mainstream' books which everyone else seems to be reading. I think this would not only be a good thing for my blog, but I want to start building my archive on books which readers would potentially look for on book blogging sites.

That's pretty much it for resolutions. I think the biggest challenge will be to uphold these new missions of mine, but I feel quite determined!
